The Diaries of Chariji (1983-1985) is a rare autobiographical record about the life of the great spiritual Master, Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari. It starts on 20 April 1983, the day after his own beloved Master, Pujya Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, left this world, and thus gives us a glimpse into a pivotal period in Shri Ram Chandra Mission – the succession from one Master to the next.
The diaries document Chariji's tireless work to connect with seekers, to encourage and guide them in their spiritual evolution, to touch hearts, and to establish centres and ashrams in many countries of the world. It is a testament to his deep faith and devotion to fulfil his Master’s vision even during this period of intense personal grief.
This gift to humanity is both a very touching portrait of a man who experiences the joys, miseries and struggles of life, and also a record of the work of a great spiritual being who sees himself only as a disciple of his Master. It is a life worth emulating.
